Behind the Lens
Born in rural Ontario, an accounting minion by day, and an aspiring freelance photographer of all things nature and interesting to my eyes by all other waking time.
The weekends we spend travelling random back roads from Bayfield to The Bruce Peninsula, to The Blue Mountains and beyond. No plan, no destination in mind, and not always but just when we need it most; the magic happens. Its easy to find subjects in nature, water and wildlife. It is so abundant and not a minute is wasted on taking it for granted. Photos and creative digital artistry of those images are a way of never forgetting the beauty and joy our simple personal time is. When we are out with our cameras, we escape all thoughts of the day to day, we just live right there in that moment, no work stress, no bills, just you, a camera and the moment. How can one not savour that.
Someday I hope to travel the rest of the country and the world savouring and capaturing all there is to see.
This website is part of the beginning of putting my work and musings out for the public eye to see. Prints can be made in a variety of options and can be quoted upon inquiries via the contact page. Eventually as I grow, I will have a more professional photography website with wildlife photography prints, nature photography prints and fine art photography prints will be listed with prices.
